08.00 – 09.00 am. Heading to Mae Taeng Elephant Camp, Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai
09.00 – 12.00 pm Arriving at Mae Taeng Elephant Camp which is located in the beautiful Maetaman Valley, 52 kilometers north of Chiang Mai where you will enjoy the amazing show of elephant’s abilities, such as painting and playing football and music. After the show, you will enjoy bamboo rafting along the Mae Taeng river for 3 kilometers spending time around 1 hour.
12.00 – 13.00 pm Lunch buffet at Mae Taeng Elephant Camp
13.00 – 14.00 pm. Heading to Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai
14.00 – 16.00 pm. Arriving at Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden which is located in Mae Rim district, 30 minutes north of Chiang Mai, along the windy road to Samoeng. The Botanical Garden Chiang Mai was opened in 1992 and is a centre to promote research, biodiversity and allow visitors to see the most diverse natural plants that Thailand has to offer. The Garden is set in a valley surrounded by rainforest and there is a whole range of different areas to visit. Visitors can walk around the flower gardens, banana path or enter one of the many different greenhouses – Savanna House, Orchid House or the Carnivorous Plant House. Another highlight of the gardens is a 400 metre canopy walkway which is suspended over the jungle canopy and gives an enlightening perspective of nature from high up in the air.
